Hello, I’m Derek
George. I’m a Certified Document Solutions Specialist for Office Systems of Wheeling/Steubenville,
Office System’s of Fayette and Greene and Rich and Shirley’s Quickprint. I provide
businesses with office equipment, software and document management. I also provide
free analysis of your office setup, workflow & processes, monthly print and
copy cost, as well as more efficient ways to outsource your printing.
Growing up I was involved with the running of several family owned businesses and
know how to relate to the running of small and medium sized businesses. I
am inventive, technological, and always trying to improve a process or idea. I grew
up in Washington Lands, just below
Moundsville, WV
. I graduated from
John Marshall High School
. I was named “Mr. Monarch” of my 2002 Class for both Academics and Athletics while
playing Football, Wrestling, and Baseball. After winning two consecutive O.V.A.C
wrestling championships and being presented with the Most Outstanding Wrestler Award
in the O.V.A.C for 2002, and being ranked 1st in the State of West Virginia
both my Junior and Senior years I went on to college after being recruited to wrestle
for West Virginia University. I incurred multiple surgeries and decided to
focus on my Business Administration degree while majoring in Accounting. I
finished WVU in December of 2006. After working in the Accounting field for
a short time, I decided I wanted to pursue sales while utilizing my business and
accounting knowledge. I decided to stay in
Morgantown
for a little while longer and Joined Premier Buick Pontiac GMC’s team. Seeing my
hard work ethic, business background, and utilization of technology, my boss named
me Internet Sales Manager and was given my own division to setup and run the 2nd
month of my employment. I held the highest Customer Satisfaction Score for the Dealership
the entire length of my employment there.
I decided to leave the auto industry and
Morgantown
when I saw the industry sliding. I contacted my Uncle, Steve George, which
has owned our Xerox Agency for over 22 years, and Rich and Shirley’s Quickprint.
He gladly invited me to join his team and efforts in providing businesses with the
most cost effective, most productive, and most reliable business equipment. I am
as happy as I can be having the opportunity to work with all types and sizes of
businesses on a daily basis. I enjoy working hard and putting my efforts in to help
businesses with their Pain Points, Productivity, Cost Management, Network management,
Document Management, and Reduction of Total Monthly Costs. I feel that I have a
great future ahead of me having the opportunity to be a part of our family owned
Agency.
